Welcome to Cal!
At long last you've made it to Berkeley. We know you're still wrapping up your old life--high school, community college, professional work--but now is the time to start planning your future at Cal. If you haven't already, you need to enroll in the Cal Student Orientation (CalSO) Program.

Fall Program for Freshmen (FPF)/Extension
As a continuation of your one-day orientation in July, FPF students attend a three-hour Schedule Planning Session on:
Monday, October 20 (3-6pm)
Monday, October 27 (3-6pm)
Friday, October 31 (3-6pm)
Monday, November 3 (3-6pm)

There is no fee for the Schedule Planning Session; you will be sent more information in early October.

Spring admits
More information about your one-day orientations will be posted on our website in September. In the meantime, keep these program dates in mind.

Freshmen and their parents/guests
Saturday, October 18, 2008 (7:30am-5:30pm)
Fees: $65 per person

Transfers and their parents/guests
Friday, October 24, 2008 (7:30am-7pm)
Fees: $65 per person, $10 additional for optional dinner at Crossroads dining commons.

Note: Please do not make travel arrangements until you have a confirmed reservation (i.e., don't buy plane tickets yet!).

Meals
All programs include continental breakfast and lunch. Vegetarian options are available.
